Webcon247 • 2 yr. ago. Honestly I wouldn't recommend a mac for PLC work. You will absolutely want a real ethernet port built in. I would recommend a mac for almost any other situation though. For PLC stuff, I would recommend using VMs regardless but you'll want a large internal SSD for multiple VMs (500gb minimum).
