WebJan 26, 2024 · Since dropping to 60 fps fixes the issue, I knew it was a problem with the fps. I realized the "Variable" option is sort of a puzzle in itself; it's a hidden fps. The answer is 80. If you go into the Nvidia control panel, and set max frame rate to 80, the lagging stops completely, without sacrificing any fps (keep in-game fps on variable).
